The BiliSoft™ 2.0 Phototherapy System is intended to be used in hospital and home settings. It uses a fiber optic cable to deliver light from high intensity LEDs to a woven fiber optic pad. The pad is placed in a soft cover that is in contact with the patient. A convenient and easy to use BiliSoft carrying case designed by GE is an optional accessory provided for the phototherapy system, which helps to ensure safe packing during transit. The outer cover is provided with DuPont Cordura® fabric, which is a versatile nylon fabric with more strength than usual. And it is a textured for a natural spun-like appearance, with an excellent resistance to fading, abrasion, rot and mildew. They have the additional properties of quick drying and are highly water repellent. Inside of the fabric is constructed with 430 Denier weight nylon Packcloth. It has 2 Lb closed cell foam for padding, which protects and provides better support while carrying load. Along with this setup Poly pro webbing strap, nylon zipper and chipboard stiffener are used to make the carrying case best suitable for the system to be safely placed into it.
