Product Overview
A spring is an elastic object that stores energy, in this case mechanical energy. Compression springs are devices made up of helically formed coils with pitch in-between used to push back on an applied force or load in order to return to its original position when the force or load is released. They are the most commonly used type of spring. This compression spring is made up of stainless steel wire of 0.038 inch diameter which offers good corrossion resistance and leads to an increased service life. This Compression Spring is used in the secondary lock assembly of Maternal Infant Care systems including GE's Giraffe Warmers and Panda iRes Warmers.
