Product Overview
The Screw, M3 x 12 Cheese Head Phillips Stainless Steel is a part used in machinery mounts. Cheese head screws have deep slots to allow increased driving power. Cheese Head Screws has a disc with a cylindrical outer edge, height approximately half the head diameter, and a flat bearing surface. These screws are known for their high strength, accuracy, quality, and durability. These are available in stainless steel. This material has significantly improved corrosion resistance especially when exposed to seawater and many types of chemicals. They contain molybdenum, which gives the steel better resistance to surface pitting. These steels are higher tensile and creep strengths at elevated temperatures than other austenitic alloys. Stainless steel also maintains an excellent toughness. This screw is being used in many anesthesia machines in the medical field such as Giraffe™ OmniBed Maternal-Infant Care and Giraffe™ Incubator, etc.
