Product Overview
The O-Ring 5.23 Inner Diameter (ID) 2.62 Width (W) - MPOS is an O-Rings that is widely used as leak source barriers in the anesthesia equipment. An O-Ring is seated in a groove and is compressed between two or more parts, thereby creating a seal at the interface. It is used as a sealing washer in medical equipment joints. It is provided as a part of the flowtube module in flowmeter of the Breathing Gas Circuit (BCG) in an anesthesia delivery machine. It prevents the gas from leakage in the module, thus completing the circuit with no effect to the patient and the environment. It is used in the Medium Pressure Oxygen Service (MPOS) where it comes into contact with oxygen-enriched gas in the range of 50 to 3000 kPa (7.25 to 435 psig). Hence, it is cleaned to specified levels of hydrocarbon agents (oils, grease, etc.), particulates (dust, dirt, lint, fibers, paper, rust, etc.) and other foreign materials before packaging. It can be lubricated sparingly with Krytox™.
